Electric ovens

This applies to electric mains operated household electric ovens including ovens being part of larger appliances.
The following ovens are not included:

• ovens that can also use other energy sources
• ovens which do not fall within the scope of the harmonised standards EN 50304:2001 (the scope of that standard is: ovens with cavity bigger than 12 liters; ovens without adjustable control and microwave combinations. Ovens must be heated by convection, forced air and/or hot steam).
• portable ovens, being appliances other than fixed appliances, having a mass of less than 18 kg, provided they are not designed for built-in installations.
