Personal computers

The criteria encompass stationary computers. They can be operated without being connected to a data network but need to be connected to the mains supply. A Desktop computer is a computer, with the minimum basic configuration that includes a mother board, a processor, a hard disc drive, memory boards, graphics card, CD/DVD-drive, a modem, a network card and a fan for cooling, all enclosed in one casing. A personal computer can communicate with the end user via a display that can be connected via analogue or digital I/O ports.
